Book early: To nab your first choice of venue/supplier (and to lock in lower prices or discounts), earlier is better. Try for 18 months in advance where possible

Use trusted suppliers with high quality equipment
View your venue 12 months before to see what it looks like at that time of year. A woodland setting in May with a carpet of bluebells will look very different in late September!
If using Bell tents make sure you're supplier has done a site visit to avoid any unnecessary stress on the day.
Budget Wisely: Set a realistic budget and prioritise spending on essential elements like tipis & photography. Research costs and consider DIY options where feasible.
